HTC TyTN Series – the ultimate in communication

The HTC TyTN is the one of the best selling PDA Phones of all time and is the communications tool of choice for many of the world’s leading businesses.

Here’s just a few people who can claim their work and leisure have been enhanced with the use of a HTC TyTN.

I do all the usual things like email, phone and texting with my TyTN, but because my work is on-site or on the road most of the day, there’s a lot of other reasons why it comes in handy.

I take photos of work to be estimated or in progress with the 2 mega-pixel camera. I work on Excel spreadsheets for estimating smaller work on the spot, online banking for paying wages to suppliers and the calendar for programming work schedules.

I can access my drawings in PDF format so that I've got them to hand if I need to quickly refer to them on a job.

When I do have a bit of time spare, I like to watch DivX movies on the large screen and the WiFi capabilities of TyTN help me keep my data charges down whilst surfing the web.

Before, I had to carry a Laptop, PDA and a mobile phone every time I left the office.

I needed the PDA for quick access to calendar information, but still needed my phone to arrange meetings and training sessions. I had to carry around my laptop for email and PowerPoint presentations.

Now, I only need to carry my HTC TyTN. It allows me to send/receive email anywhere, including attachments. I have full access to my calendar and contacts and can obviously still make and receive calls whilst on the move.

My favourite feature is that I can run my PowerPoint files straight from the TyTN using a WiFi adaptor connected to the projector.

Basil, Personal Trainer

I'm a freelance personal trainer and my HTC TyTN works hard for me for a number of reasons.

I can seamlessly integrate my schedule from phone to PC and vice versa, making my timetable accessible wherever I am. It lets me write and e-mail gym programmes for clients while commuting on the train, leaving me with more time to enjoy family life when I get home.

The fast HSDPA internet connection lets me work on the move (I get most of my business via website which I need to log into). I even take it out with clients while training and enter their workout on my TyTN as we go, so that at the end of the workout they have a copy in their inbox.

I'm a senior technician at a large music venue in the north of England.

I use my TyTN to organise my day-to-day work schedule. The large screen gives me a clear view of the appointments, meetings and events I'm working on.

The keyboard proves useful for taking notes in meetings, even impromptu ones when I'm not prepared with a pen and paper, enabling me to draw event plans or wiring diagrams for the electrics and lighting.

The media player and audio capabilities also come in handy - I have a cable to plug the audio out (mini-usb socket) into the various sound systems, for testing and setting-up.
